Time passed, and seasons changed as Joy walked down the aisle with her father beside her to the man her heart belonged to, Daniel. Oh, pure joy was written over her, seen on her face by everyone. It was indeed the will of God for her life.

Daniel stood waiting at the altar with a grin etched on his face. The day he would never forget had finally come. The day when Joy becomes his joy—”Daniel’s joy.”

Shivers go down his spine as he reminisces the events of the past: how he approached Joy, proposed to her, and the day she said ‘Yes’ to him. It never gets old. He remembers it as yesterday. And now, she was to be his.

“Do you Daniel Idechi take Joy Edwards as your lawfully wedded wife to love and cherish her, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for better for worse, and forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto her, for so long as you both shall live?” The Priest asked.

“I do,” Daniel replied, proudly.

“Do you Joy Edwards take Daniel Idechi as your lawfully wedded husband to love and cherish him, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for better for worse, and forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto him, for so long as you both shall live?”

“I do,” Joy answered.

Vows are exchanged; a kiss is shared, and everyone cheers them on thereafter.

Now, they are married—what could possibly go wrong?
